Quoted from "Tuesdays With Morrie" by Mitch Albom

"I heard a nice little story the other day," Morrie says. He closes his eyes for a moment and I wait.
"Okay. The story is about a little wave, bobbing along in the ocean, having a grand old time. He's enjoying the wind and the fresh air--until he notices the other waves in front of him, crashing against the shore.
" 'My God, this is terrible,' the wave says. 'Look what's going to happen to me!'
"Then along comes another wave. It sees the first wave, looking grim, and it says to him, 'Why do you look so sad?'
"The first wave says, 'You don't understand! We're all going to crash! All of us waves are going to be nothing!  Isn't it terrible?'
"The second wave says, 'No, you don't understand. You're not a wave, you're part of the ocean.' "
I smile. Morrie closes his eyes again.
"Part of the ocean," he says, "part of the ocean." I watch him breathe, in and out, in and out.

Quotes from Wayne Dyer:
God is the devine organizer. You are what God is doing. If you remember that you are one with Source you won't feel separated.

All my life I wanted to be somebody. Now that I am somebody, I know it's not me.

Quote from Eleanor Roosevelt:
I don't think it would be any more bazarre for me to show up in another life than it was for me to show up in this one.

A TRUE FABLE
Once upon a time, a long time ago, a Prince was born to the King and Queen. The Prince was heralded and welcomed as no baby had ever been welcomed. With feasts and treats and music and dancing. Hot water was an unimagined luxury, but everyone was invited to have a hot bath and everyone enjoyed it immensely. And then they dressed for the feast in their new clothes.  And the feast was excellent because it represented such a rare opportunity to eat one's fill of goodies and dainties. And people who had not tasted sugar since the last public feast- and God knows how long ago that had been- enjoyed it to the fullest. But the livliest dancers ate the least of the food and enjoyed themselves all the more for it. And so the Prince was brought forth into the crowd and everyone cheered, and everyone loved him, and he wanted for nothing.
And the years passed and the Prince grew, and he was healthy in mind and spirit. He had lived an easy and soft life and when he was 14 years old his teacher planted the idea in his mind that it would be well if he went off to see the rest of the world before settling down in his own land to rule the Kingdom, which of course was going to happen as his father was growing old and would one day soon look to the Prince to help him rule the people.
The teacher told him of the wonders of the world and that there was more to life than ease and comfort and that there was information which he would find which would be of great value to him in the years to come.
So the Prince took his goodbyes with many kisses and backward glances for he was reluctant, to say the least. But his wise old teacher had been his friend and confidant over many years, and the Prince looked to his teacher to understand the greater good, the higher needs, that he himself was as yet too young to trouble himself about.
Reluctant though he was, he was young and strong and full of vigor and there was a part of him eager for excitement, and eager for the information that the teacher had promised him that he would find. And more than anything, he was intreiged with understanding what his "higher good" might be, as he had always lived day by day in his easy and soft life, knowing full well that he would follow his father as King of the Realm one day.
He sat high on his horse, the teacher behind on his horse, and the servant behind them on his horse. At first, all along the way, the people lined the road and cheered, for they all loved the Prince.
Soon the road led up a high hill and the wind began to blow. The three men climbed upward to the very top of the hill and soon left behind the boundaries of the kingdom, and them they began the downward climb on the other side of the hill. And oh, the adventures they had! But that will be another story at another time- the adventures they had as the climbed down the mountain and came to the castle of the neighboring King, and what they learned when they stayed for a week and rested and feasted and shared inforation with the Wise Man who lived in that land. Yes- and two more high mountains lay before them before they came at last to the sea. And then, Oh, the cold nights, and the blustery winds, and the sore bones as the sat on horseback- but all that is for another time.
For this story, suffice it to say that the moon herself gave the information to the Prince that the world is wider than we know, and the ways of men are many and varied, and the Prince learned that there is not one right or good way, but that in each kingdom there were many wonderful and new ways that the people of that kingdom had developed for themselves, and that they were all different.
