Have you read my book at least once? Have you done Lesson #1? Have you really repeated it to your full satisfaction?
There is no hurry.
Lesson # 2 is called TIME LINE.
Clear the decks; no telephone, etc. Arrange for some time to focus on you. Get a legal sized pad and a pen ready,
and a glass of water. Being the electrical system which we are, we cannot function well unless we have enough water. By the
time you feel thirst in your mouth, it's already long past due!
Make a list of the important dates of the markers in your life. Your birth, births of siblings,
special birthdays, religious ceremonies, first kiss, graduations, college, marriage, birth of children, moving, pets, loss
of pets, accidents, illnesses, operations, etc. Arrange in order in a list which you make as complete as possible. Let
this simmer on the back burner over a week or two while you may remember other items to add. Then you arrange these items
on a line, arranged according to the year. Give yourself time for this. Add to it as you remember incidents.
Meanwhile you can also do Lesson #3
Called "The Story Of My Lfe", it will assist your memory and coordinate with your Time Line incidents. Start at birth,
give some background about who your parents were and continue up untill the present. Include important slogans, books, jobs,
mentors, etc.
In the end you will realize that the present is all we really have, but it's well worth it to
take a birds eye view back to see where we have come from.
Lesson #4
Go back over Lessons #2 and #3 and take out the blaming. Don't blame yourself, and don't blame any others either. It's
no one's fault. What happened, happened. The past can't be changed, but the future is all potential. The sooner you can stop
blaming, the sooner you put yourself fully in the drivers seat and enable yourself to get the life you want.
Lesson #5
WHAT DO I WANT? Write for 20 minutes every day. Start with that sentence-
What do I want?- and write whatever comes into your head. write continuously, don't stop to think. Punctuation, sentence structure,
grammar don't count here, just write. If you can't get started write that- I can't write, keep writing it until you write
something else or the 20 minute timer goes off.
