Why diets fail

Many diets that are terrible for you give you quick weight loss to begin with, but do you hit a plateau after a month to 3 months? Have you lost weight but not tightened up? If so you lost pounds but gained bodyfat percentage. If you have been exercising and or dieting for 3 months or more without tightening up, then you need to take a serious look at your nutrition. Did you know that aerobic exercise, even walking, can actually make you gain bodyfat percentage if you are not getting enough calories of good food to support that extra activity? A person can appear overweight if their bodyfat percentage is too high. That’s why a thin person can still have a sagging belly—it’s the bodyfat percentage not the pounds.
